Growth Mindset

Carol Dweck's growth mindset is a life-changing mantra for betterment. The growth mindset, as opposed to the fixed mindset, establishes a positive outlook on life that encourages failing forward. The growth mindset encourages risk taking and accepts failure as part of the learning process.

As a teacher, modeling and utilizing the growth mindset is important. Teachers have the ability to impact their students' lives in a positive way and help them reach goals. Bringing growth mindset into the educational setting helps develop better learners and people.

In my growth mindset plan, I outline what the growth mindset is, the importance of the growth mindset, how to achieve and communicate the growth mindset, and list helpful resources.
